The caretaker Government has reduced the Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 16 December 2023 till 31 December 2023. According to the details, the Government has reduced the Price of Petrol, High-Speed Diesel (HSD), Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has seen a minor reduction.
According to the announcement, the Petrol Price has been reduced by Rs. 14.00 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs. 13.50 per litre. Similarly, the Price of Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has seen a reduction of Rs. 10.14 and Rs. 11.29 per litre, respectively.
After the increase, the new Petrol Price in Pakistan is Rs. 267.34 per litre, while High Speed Diesel (HSD) will now cost Rs. 276.21 per litre. Furthermore, the new Price of Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) will be Rs. 191.02 per litre and Rs. 164.64 per litre, respectively.

The Latest Diesel and Petrol Prices in Pakistan will become effective from today on 16 December 2023 for the remainder of the month.
“Government of Pakistan has decided to revise the prices of Petroleum Products for the fortnight starting from 16th December, 2023, as recommended by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).” said the notification.

Earlier, it was reported Price of Petrol is may be reduced by Rs. 13.00 per litre, while High-Speed Diesel (HSD) might be slashed by Rs. 15 per litre, providing much needed relief to the inflation burdened population.
In the last fortnight review, the caretaker Federal Government maintained the Petrol Price at Rs. 281.34 per litre, while High-Speed Diesel (HSD) was slashed by Rs. 7.00 per litre, bringing the new price at Rs. 289.71.
