The Petrol Prices in Pakistan have been increased from 5 November 2021 till 15 November 2021 on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan just days after rejecting the earlier summary of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in order to provide relief to the general public.
According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 8.03 per liter bringing the new rate at at Rs. 145.82 per liter while the the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Price in Pakistan has also been increased by Rs. 8.14 per liter bringing the new rate at Rs. 142.62 per liter.
Similarly, the Price of Kerosene Oil has been increased by Rs. 6.27 per liter and the price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been raised by Rs. 5.72 per liter bringing the new rates at Rs. 116.53 and Rs. 114.07 per liter, respectively.

It is pertinent to mention Prime Minister Imran Khan had originally rejected the summary by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to increase the Petrol Price in Pakistan.
The new Petrol Prices in Pakistan will take effect from 5 November 2021 and remain in place for the first half of the month till 15 November 2021. The new rates of Petroleum Products have reached an all time high in the country.
