As expected Petroleum products prices hike continues to rise even in the month of March 2018 – Constantly increasing highest since November 2014, however International Prices has decreased this month which might effect next month in April.

Petrol Prices in Pakistan -For petrol, the ex-depot price was worked out at Rs 88.07 per liter instead of existing rate of Rs84.51 per liter highest since November 2014. Likewise, Ogra calculated ethe x-refinery price of kerosene at Rs76.46 per litre — highest since July 2015 – against existing rate of Rs70.18 per litre, showing an increase of Rs6.28 per liter or 8.9pc.
Also, it proposed Ra s1 per litre increase in the price of LDO to Rs65.30 instead of the existing rate of Rs64.30, up 1.6pc. The summary has been forwarded to the petroleum division that would seek its approval from the prime minister.
The new price of diesel (HSD) would be Rs. 98.45 per liter, Motor Spirit Rs. 88.07 per liter, SKO Rs 76.46 per liter and LDO Rs.65.30 per liter.

The new price of petrol will be Rs88.7 per litre, whereas, the price of diesel will be Rs102.77 per litre.
The price of diesel has been set keeping in view general sales tax of 31 percent.
For all other petroleum products, the prices have been set on the basis of 17 percent GST.
