ISLAMABAD: The petrol prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged for the remainder of May 2021 on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan after reviewing the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), said a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance on Friday.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has rejected the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) for increase in the petrol price in Pakistan and diesel price in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, prices of Kerosene oil and light-speed diesel (LDO) will also remain unchanged for the for the remainder of the month, maintaining the current rates.
According to the notification, the petrol price in Pakistan stands at Rs. 108.56 per litre while diesel will remain at Rs. 110.76 per litre.
Kerosene oil will continue to be sold at Rs. 80 per litre, whereas, the light speed diesel oil will remain at Rs. 77.65 per litre.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had originally recommended an increase of Rs. 1.90 in the petrol prices in Pakistan and Rs. 3.25, which was rejected by the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The new petrol prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged for the remaining month from 18 May 2021 till 31 May 2021.
