Petrol Prices in Pakistan are likely to witness another drop for the next fortnight from November 1.
According to the details, the Price of Petrol may be reduced by Rs. 18 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed-Diesel (HSD) may be slashed by Rs. 5 per litre.
The reason behind the reduction in Petrol Prices is the appreciation of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar (USD) in recent weeks.
If reduced, the Price of Diesel will fall below Rs. 300 per litre unless the caretaker Government decides to add further Petroleum Levy (PL).
Meanwhile, the average Price of Diesel has also dropped by $1.3 a barrel in the international market and the Price of Petrol has seen a reduction of $3.5 per barrel.
It is pertinent to mention that caretaker Government had reduced Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the current fortnight by Rs. 40 per litre, while High-Speed Diesel (HSD) saw a reduction of Rs. 15 per litre.
