ISLAMABAD: The petrol prices in Pakistan to remain unchanged for a period of 13 days till 28 February 2021 on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan rejects the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
OGRA had forwarded a summary to PM a few days ago, seeking an increase of Rs 14.07 per litre in the price of petrol and Rs13.61 per litre in the price of high speed diesel.

Petrol price in Pakistan to remain at Rs. 111.9 per liter while diesel price rate to Rs. 116.07 per liter.
Meanwhile, prices of Kerosene oil and light-speed diesel have been increased by Rs. 3.54 per liter and Rs. 3 per liter respectively bringing new rates to Rs. 80.19 per litre and Rs. 79.23 per litre.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had originally recommended an increase of Rs. 12 per liter for petrol price in Pakistan while proposing a hike of Rs. 10 per litre in diesel price. However, the prime minister did approve of such a massive hike.
These petrol prices in Pakistan will remain in place till February 28, 2021.
