ISLAMABAD: The Government has reduced Petrol Prices in Pakistan for May 2020 on the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) since prices of crude oil have taken a dive in the international market ever since the coronavirus pandemic.

The government has reduced the petrol price by Rs. 15 per litre against the proposed reduction of Rs. 20.68 by OGRA earlier whereas high-speed diesel (HSD) price has been reduced by Rs. 27.15 per litre against the proposed reduction of Rs. 33.94 per litre.
In the same way, the government has slashed light diesel oil (LDO) price by Rs. 15 per litre against the suggested Rs. 24.57 by OGRA. Price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs. 30.01 per litre against the proposed reduction of Rs. 44.07 per litre.
