The government of Pakistan has announced that it will be reducing petrol prices by Rs.15 per liter as part of a relief package amid the coronavirus pandemic gripping the nation.

The Minister for Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar took to Twitter to announce the reduction in petrol prices by Rs.15.
The new reduced petrol prices will be:
Old Price (PKR) | New Price (PKR) | Reduction (PKR) | |
Petrol | 111.60 | 96.6 | 15 |
Diesel | 122.26 | 107.26 | 15 |
Although this has been announced Prime Minister Imran Khan in a press conference, a notification has not been issued stating when these new prices will come into effect.
This is part of a economic relief package of Rs. 1200 billion that has been announced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
