Despite a hike in prices, there is a severe petrol shortage in Pakistan as petrol pumps / stations remain closed in several across several cities, including Lahore and Multan.
According to the details, petrol pumps / stations are closed in Lahore and Multan citing petrol shortage as the reason behind the closure.

Upon checking out several petrol stations across the Lahore’s Gulberg, Garden Town, DHA, Bhatta Chowk, and Cantt. areas, we found only a handful of them open with long queues of vehicles.
However, it is pertinent to mention that Pakistan State Oil (PSO) stations were open throughout the city and supplying fuel, but as other pumps were closed, there was a long queue at these stations as well.
