Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced its new fares and rules under the Umrah Policy 2020 which will remain effective till December 31 for pilgrims traveling to Medina and Jeddah.
According to the new PIA Umrah Policy 2020, the return ticket for economy class will cost Rs. 91,000 (inclusive of tax) while the price of a round trip from other cities will cost Rs. 96,000.
Furthermore, the passengers of the executive economy will be allowed to carry 40kg of baggage while also being permitted to carry five litres of Zamzam, excluding the baggage limit.
However, a baggage allowance of 10kg will be granted to infants infants traveling with their parents.
PIA has started bookings for groups of Umrah pilgrims with a minimum of 10 passengers with the validity of air tickets will be one month from the date of departure.
Moreover, passengers can change their books free of cost until seven days before the date of departure.

Saudi Arabia has allowed international airlines to fly in pilgrims with valid visit and Umrah visas in the country with immediate effect according to a notification issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GAVA).
