Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique, has announced that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will offer passengers up to 15 percent discount on international flights.
In a video message posted on Twitter, Rafique said that PIA had already slashed ticket fares by 10 percent for domestic routes and after calculations, the national flag carrier has decided to cut fares for international flights as well.
According to the details, PIA will offer passengers 15 percent discount on ticket fares for United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other Gulf Countries, while those traveling to Saudi Arabia will be given 10 percent discount and ticket fares to Canada have been slashed by 8 percent.
The new fares will come into effect immediately to provide relief to the passengers.
