ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has suggested surgical castration and hanging of rapists once proven guilty and the government bodies will soon table a bill in parliament for approval.
According to sources, the Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda has been given the task of furnishing the draft bill which will be presented before the parliament for approval.
Federal Minister Faisal Vawda said that the castration bill for rapists will be followed by bill related to the hanging of criminals accused of such crimes and the government will at least get one bill approved.

This development comes after Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of recent rape incidents in the country involving children and woman especially the Lahore motorway gang rape of a mother in front of her children.
Lahore motorway gang rape incident
A woman was gang raped on Lahore motorway in front of her children on Wednesday after her car broke down stranding her on the road.
According to sources, the woman called motorway police for help but was denied assistance due to jurisdiction issues after which she was spotted by the assailants who attacked her car.
The culprits forced the woman along with her children out of the car and took them to a nearby field where they gang raped the woman and then robbed her of all valuables immediately fleeing the scene.
