MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan to address Jalsa in Muzaffarabad today (Friday). He will address a public gathering to express his support for the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
The Lockdown in Indian Occupied Kashmir enters in 40th day, since the New Dehli has revoked Article 370.
Pakistan took the issue in United Nations Security Council and United Nations Human Rights Commissioner issued a statement on Occupied Kashmir.
UN High Commissioner said, “I am deeply concerned about the impact of recent actions by the Government of India on the human rights of Kashmiris, Inducing restrictions on Internet communications and peaceful assembly, and the detention of local political leaders and activists.”
“I have appealed particularly to India to east the current lockdowns or curfews to ensure people’s access to basic remedies; and that all due process rights are respected for those who have been detained.” – he added.
PTI’s Top leadership will attend the Jalsa in Muzaffarabad today, Prime Minister Khan will convey his message of soliderity to the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir during his address.
The Security arrangments for the Jalsa has been completed. State owned Television/ Private News channels and Radio Pakistan will televise it live from Muzaffarabad.
