According to the details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed concerned authorities for urgent measures to mitigate people’s problems, including load-shedding..
The premier said that he would not rest, not let anyone rest until the problem of load-shedding, which is plaguing the country, is resolved. He criticized the previous government for destruction of the energy sector, adding that Imran Khan-led government neither purchased fuel, nor repaired any power units.
“The previous government closed power units, which were set up by our government to generate low-cost electricity.” said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, adding that Nawaz Sharif-led government had generated surplus power, but Imran Khan-led government failed to add a single unit to the National Grid.
