The newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has taken a u-turn on his “beggars cannot be choosers” statement he made during an interview earlier this month.
Shehbaz Sharif was elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan with 174 votes in the lower house, two days after Imran Khan was ousted from office as the country’s premier.
In his first address as Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, complete took a u-turn with his statement of “beggars cannot be choosers” and acted like someone else had said those words.
He criticized those who said, “beggars cannot be choosers,” by telling them that only nations who are “choosers” are able to progress. However, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif seems to have forgotten that he was the one who said those words out loud for the nation on live television.
