The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted the date for Eid ul Adha 2024 in Pakistan.
According to the data provided by the Climate Data Processing Centre, Pakistan is likely to celebrate Eid ul Adha on June 17, 2024 (Monday).
The Zilhaj moon is expected to be sighted on June 7 (Friday), which means Eid ul Adha will fall on June 17 (Monday).
According to the details, the Zilhaj moon will rise on June 6 at 5:38 pm, while sunset will occur at 7:20 pm.
The moon will be visible for 72 minutes after sunset.
Eid ul Adha, which is also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the two important Muslim festivals.
It honors Prophet Ibrahim’s readiness to sacrifice his son for God, and people celebrate by slaughtering animals and sharing the meat with their families and those in need.
This tradition of sacrificing animals lasts for three days during Eid ul Adha.
