Turkish President Erdogan is on a two day visit to Pakistan and he addressed the joint session of Parliament today where he said that Pakistan was like his second home.
He vowed that Turkey will Support Pakistan on the Kashmir issue and Financial Action Task Force (FATF) meetings despite any pressure.
President Erdogan thanked the people of Pakistan and the leadership for the warm welcome he was given on his arrival.
Turkish President Erdogan said in his address:
It is my pleasure to speak to you. I am thankful to you for giving me the opportunity to address this august house,
While in Pakistan, I think as if I am at my home,
We can never forget the sacrifices made by the people of South Asia for the freedom of Turkey.
Erdogan also thanked Pakistan over the support it gave at the time of the earthquake that hit Turkey a few weeks ago saying:
The way Pakistani nation helped us, I can never forget.

Ergdogan also talked about the the Kashmir issue saying that “for Turkey, Kashmir is as important as it is for Pakistan” adding how the Kashmiri brothers have suffered adding that the issue should be resolved in a just and fair means.
He even took a dig at US President Trump over his peace plan saying that it was more of a takeover plan than a peace plan saying:
The plan of the ‘deal of the century’ is not a peace project but in fact, a project for occupation.
Erdogan also said that Turkey will support Pakistan at the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) meetings despite any pressure.
The Turkish president hailed Pakistan for its efforts in the war on terrorism and said that Turkey will continue to extend its cooperation to the country to cope with any problems faced because of it.
