Prime Minister Imran Khan has tested positive for coronavirus, said the Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr Faisal Sultan.
The SAPM said that the premier is self-isolating at home after testing positive for COVID-19, The news was shared via Twitter by the Prime Minister’s aide.

It bears mentioning that the Prime Minister Imran Khan also had himself vaccinated against coronavirus on Thursday. However, it is possible that the premier contracted the virus before getting the vaccine.
It is also pertinent to mention that the Sinopharm vaccine which was administered to the Prime Minister against COVID-19 is not a 100% effective and takes a few weeks to develop the antibodies. However, those who get the vaccination will not experience very severe symptoms.
