PTI’s Barrister Sultan Mahmood wins LA-3 Mirpur by-election

MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chudary wins LA-3 Mirpur by-election on Sunday.

According to the unofficial results of LA-3 Mirpur PTI,s candidate Barrister Sultan was contesting against Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) Sohaib Saeed son of former minister Chudary Saeed.

Barrister Sultan bagged 17,617 votes, his rival Chaudhry Sohaib Saeed of PMLN could get 14,819, according to the unofficial results received from all polling stations that were set up for the by-election.

By-elections were held after Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJ&k) supreme court disqualified CH. Muhammad Saeed from the ministry of sports, youth and culter.
