Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) strongly condemns two consecutive blasts in Balochistan Expressing deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the blast Praying for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured along with the demand for the provision of quality treatment facilities
A day before the polling, the incidents of terrorism in two areas of Balochistan one after the other are very sad and cause for concern. The evil elements want to create an atmosphere of lawlessness and chaos by targeting the candidates participating in the elections.
Blasts in Balochistan:
- 12 killed in blast near JUI-F election office in Qila Saifullah
- 12 killed in blast at ex-ministers election office in Pishin
The increase in terrorist incidents in Balochistan before the general elections speaks volumes of the continued criminal failure and incompetence of the caretaker governments.
The federal and Sabai caretaker government should answer why security is not being provided to the candidates and political parties participating in the elections despite the security high alert in Balochistan.
The Election Commission and the institutions responsible for public order should take immediate notice of the terrorist incidents and ensure the safety and security of the citizens on polling day.
The incidents should be thoroughly investigated and the criminal negligence of the supervising governments should also be investigated to bring those responsible to justice. It is the constitutional responsibility of the caretaker government and the Election Commission to ensure the conduct of the election in a peaceful and transparent environment and to provide complete security to the candidates and voters, the spokesperson of Tehreek-e-Insaf said.
