It is pertinent to mention that PTI Chairman and Former Prime Minister Imran Khan had also announced a Peshawar Jalsa being held today. “On Wednesday, I will be holding a Jalsa in Peshawar after Isha – my first Jalsa after being removed through a foreign- instigated regime change.” said ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan. “I want all our people to come, as Pakistan was created as an independent, sovereign state not as a puppet state of foreign powers.” he added.
Imran Khan said that the purpose of the Peshawar Jalsa is to be demand “immediate elections” as that was the only way to let people decide whom they want to see as their Prime Minister.
We are demanding immediate elections as that is the only way forward — to let the people decide, through fair & free elections, whom they want as their prime minister.
