After facing imprisonment for over five and a half months, bail has finally been granted to PTI President Sindh, Haleem Adil Sheikh, in more than 30 cases, as stated by PTI Karachi’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
It is pertinent to mention that Haleem Adil Sheikh was arrested outside the Sindh High Court (SHC) on 30 August 2023 and has remained in jail since. The politician was suspected of involvement in the violent protests of May 9 after Imran Khan’s arrest in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust.
Sheikh and other PTI politicians in the province were reportedly among rioters booked for the violent protests in Karachi.
