Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) official X (formerly Twitter) handle announced full support for Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan and stated that it Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government will bear all expense for safe return of the students.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of Pakistan has expressed its gratitude to the Kyrgyz government for its swift response to ensure the safety of Pakistani students following a recent attack.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, wrote a letter to the Kyrgyz Ambassador, Melis Moldaliev Alo-A, thanking him for the “comprehensive actions taken to address the situation.”
The letter commends the Kyrgyz government for providing medical care to the injured students and counseling services to those affected by the attack. It also highlights the importance of clear communication from the Kyrgyz government, which helped to “alleviate the concerns” of worried families.
The letter acknowledges the “significant distress” caused by the incident and emphasizes the importance of getting the students home safely. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has pledged to cover all the costs associated with repatriating the students.
“The well-being of these students is a shared responsibility,” the letter reads. “The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa urges for your continued and focused efforts to ensure that the students can return home safely.”
