Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the date for the distribution of e-bikes, Speaking in the Punjab Assembly in Lahore, she said that the Punjab government would begin to distribute electric bikes from 10 July.
The chief minister highlighted the accomplishments of her government’s first 100 days in office, noting that this was the first time the provincial government had presented a historic and tax-free budget, with the government not imposing any new taxes on the people of Punjab.

The Chief Minister said her government will restart the laptop scheme with the cost of 10 billion rupees. She further told the house that a plan would be launched to enroll all those kids who are out of school in schools.
She said that free medicines and treatment facilities will be arranged for the people at all public hospitals.
She has also indicated that other steps to be taken are offering interest-free loans and agricultural machinery subsidies.
It is pertinent to mention here that CM Maryam Nawaz launched the project to provide 20,000 bikes under the Chief Minister Youth Initiative on April 12. Under this scheme of CM Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, students can gain motorcycles and e-bikes through an easy installment plan of Rs 11,676 each month for male students and Rs 7,325 for female students.
The quota will be 50/50 percent reserved for male and female students in urban areas. The quota for the tribal area will have 70% for male students and 30% for female students.
