The Punjab government has announced office hours for the upcoming Ramadan 2025, starting around mid-March, to support employees and the public during the holy month.
This decision, announced by the Services and General Administration Department (Welfare Wing) on February 28, 2025, aims to create a balanced work environment while respecting fasting schedules.
Offices in Punjab will follow two different schedules based on their workweeks:

These new timings will kick in during Ramadan 1446 Hijri, expected to begin in mid-March 2025, and will apply to all government offices across the province.
The shorter hours are designed to help staff manage their energy levels while fasting, ensuring essential services remain available.
