The Punjab Government has announced a public holiday starting April 10th on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
According to the details, the offices working five days a week will observe Eid holidays from April 10 to 12 (Wednesday to Friday), while all offices working six days a week will remain closed from April 10 to 13 (Wednesday to Thursday).
The decision has been made in line with the Federal Government’s notification regarding Eid ul Fitr holidays. A copy of the notification issued by the Punjab Government has been shared below:
It is pertinent to mention that if Shawwal moon is sighted on April 9, Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated on April 10 (Wednesday). However, if the Shawwal moon is not sighted on April 9, Ramadan will complete 30 days and Eid ul Fitr will fall on April 11.
