LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Lahore has decided to delay two upcoming intermediate exams due to coincide with scheduled by-elections
The chemistry exam, initially set for April 20, and the English exam, planned for April 22, will be rescheduled. The board made this decision in light of the by-elections that are to take place on April 21.
Officials from the board have indicated that the revised dates for these exams will be announced later. They have advised students and teachers to keep an eye on the Lahore Board’s official communications for updates on the new exam schedule.
The by-elections will fill six seats in the National Assembly and 17 in various provincial assemblies, including two in both the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan assemblies and 12 in the Punjab Assembly, set to occur on April 21.
