Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz has launched the registration process for the “Kisan Card” to bring ease and prosperity to the lives of farmers.
The CM emphasized her commitment to improving the lives of farmers. Under this project, agricultural loans worth Rs 300 billion will be given to farmers annually. About 500,000 farmers in Punjab, owning up to 12.5 acres of agricultural land, will benefit from this initiative.
How do I apply for a Punjab Kisan Card?
To apply for the Punjab Kisan Card, farmers must have their land registered at the Land Record Center and have a mobile SIM registered against their own CNIC.

The CM explained that the farmer’s identity will be verified by NADRA, and it will be ensured that the applicant is not a defaulter of any financial institution.
The loan will be interest-free, and the farmer will return the easy installments within six months. After repaying the loan, the farmer will be eligible to apply for another loan for the next crop season.
For registration, farmers can send their ID card number to 8070 from their registered mobile number using the format: PKC (space) CNIC card number.
