LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has inaugurated Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) in Lahore on Sunday.
China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Chairman Retd Lt General Asim Saleem Bajwa and Chinese ambassador participated in the inauguration ceremony.
The Orange Line will run operate 07:30 AM to 08:30 PM and its fare has been fixed at Rs. 40.
Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) consist of 26 stations on a 27.1 kilometre long track have been completed.
People have expressed happiness over completion of the project and said they will enjoy a comfortable journey on the OMLT.
The OLMT project was expected to complete in 27 months but due to court stay order Orange Line Metro Train project faced delay, lastly it was expected to start in December 2019, however completion and fare decision dragged it for next 10 months.
