LAHORE: A Shuttle Train service between Lahore and Wagah Railway Station will be restored after a gap of 22 years on December 14.
Pakistan Railways told media that “The Shuttle train service named ‘Rail Car’ will carry 181 passengers will provide commute for the passengers desiring to witness the flag lowering ceremony in the evening. The Pakistan Rangers at the Wagah Border and the Border Security Force on the Indian side would manage the security affairs”.

Lahore-Wagah Shuttle Train Service
The Rail Car fare is fixed Rs.30 and will do three trips Wagah and back to Lahore Railway station daily.
The Train ‘Rail Car’ will be consist of two passenger coaches and a brake van.
The Shuttle Train service was suspended in 1997.
Pakistan Railways is expected to restore the Shuttle Train service on 14th December 2019.
