Punjab Announces End of Winter Vacations With New School Timings

The School Education Department (SED) of Punjab has announced its final decision on winter vacations along with new school timings across the province.

According to the notification, there will be no extension to winter vacations for schools and colleges in Punjab. Furthermore, the notification added that “all public and private schools shall reopen on 10th January 2024.”

Punjab Changes School Timings For Winter

Moreover, the School Education Department (SED) in Punjab has also announced a change in school timings for winter due to the prevailing cold wave across the province. According to the notification, the schools shall start at 9:30 AM till 22nd January 2024. However, all schools shall revert to normal timings from 23rd January 2024.

Uniform Relaxation

Furthermore, the education department has announced a relaxation in the uniform dress code, allowing the students have been allowed to wear any warm clothing, sweater, jackets, caps, and shoes for protection against cold.
