The Regional Meteorological Center in Lahore has issued a new weather update for Lahore and other areas of Punjab, stating that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and a high pressure system is likely to persist during the next 2 to 3 days.
The weather is expected to remain very hot with heatwave-like conditions in most districts of Punjab, especially Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad. Furthermore, the daytime temperatures are likely to be 6 to 8°C above normal.
Meanwhile, there are chances of isolated rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms in Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, and nearby areas.
