Youtuber Aun Ali Khosa Reached home safely

Good News, Youtuber Aun Ali Khosa, who was abducted from his apartment in Lahore on 15th August has been released and reached home safely his family confirmed.

The news of his release and reaching home was announced by reowned Lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq on Social media X, He took this matter straight to the Lahore High Court.

As of now, there is no confirmation regarding who was behind the abduction. However, Khosa’s family confirmed that he returned home in the early hours of 19th August 2024.

Aun Ali Khosa, known for his one-man show on YouTube that reaches audiences worldwide, often criticizes government policies in his content. His recent song, “Bill Bill Pakistan” by Aun Ali Khosa: A Satirical Anthem is believed to have sparked his abduction. The controversial song was removed from YouTube just 24 hours after its release, and reports suggest that the abductors took Khosa’s laptop, indicating a clear motive.

The incident led to widespread concern on social media, with the hashtag #ReleaseAunAliKhosa trending on X until his safe return. Now, all eyes are on Khosa to see what content he will produce next or if he will choose to leave Pakistan altogether.

One thing is certain: Pakistan is becoming an increasingly dangerous place for YouTubers.
