NETHERLANDS: After the visit of the British Royals, another Royal, Queen Maxima of Netherlands will visit Pakistan in November this year.
She will visit Pakistan for a three-day visit from November 25 to November 27.
Queen Maxima will arrive in Pakistan in her role as UN Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development to discuss the progress of access to financial services.
The Dutch royal during her visit is also expected to meet President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Her visit will spread a message across the world about Pakistan and how the country is progressing. Her visit will center around the progress of financial services to further improve the economic condition of Pakistan.
During her three-day visit, she will hold talks with
- International development partners.
- Representatives of fintech sectors.
- State Bank Governor Reza Baqir.
- Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance.
- Usman Mubin, Chairman NADRA.

Queen Maxima will also show her presence at the launch of the Micropayments Gateway.
She will also visit a project developed with the CEO Partnership for Economic Inclusion (CEOP).
SHe will be visiting Lahore as well. She will witness a number of projects focusing on digital financial services among other projects that contribute to the development of entrepreneurs.
Her Royal Majesty the Queen Maxima is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of the government.
She will particularly also focus on the importance of financial services for women.
Queen Maxima has been associated with the UN since 2009 as a special advocate. Her key role as a special UN advocate is to ensure the availability of financial services to all particularly low-income groups and small and medium-sized businesses.
