Based on newer reports, the Quetta Bomb blast has left at least seven dead and 21 injured so far. Among the dead were two policemen.
The injured from the bomb blast have been shifted to the hospital and emergency has been declared in Quetta Civil Hospital.
According to more recent reports, a suicide bomber was coming from Shahra-e-Iqbal towards a religious protest near Quetta Press Club and when he was stopped by police who were present at the scene for security of the demonstrators, the suicide bomber exploded himself hitting the police vehicle.

A number of vehicles were damaged as a result and many buildings were damaged with broken windows that shattered as a result of the bomb blast.
The area has been cordoned off by authorities and investigation into the matter has been initiated.
As of now, no group has taken responsibility of this Quetta blast which is just another in a number of such incidents that have plagued the city in recent times.
