LAHORE: A man named Muhammad Jameel was arrested by police for attempting to rape a minor girl in Islampura area of Lahore after kidnapping the victim and dragging her to his house.
According to police, the 12-year-old girl was on her way home when the suspect, Muhammad Jameel reportedly grabbed the victim and took her to his house located in Islampura area of Lahore where he tried to rape the minor girl.
However, the residents of the area heard the cries of the 12-year-old and rushed to the house to rescue her but unfortunately, the suspect was able to escape the scene.

Police rushed to the scene and was able track down the suspect and take him into custody. A case has been registered against the accused, Muhammad Jameel, at the Islampura Police Station.
Another recent incident involved a 17-year-old girl getting raped by her 40-year-old stepfather named Gulzar several time before coming forward with the incident.
The incident took place in Gujranwala and a case has been registered against the accused who has been taken into custody for further investigation into the matter.
