Ras Al Khaimah’s RAK Central to Become Largest Business District in Northern Emirates

Ras Al Khaimah is set to witness a major transformation with the launch of RAK Central, a colossal mixed-use development that promises to be the largest commercial business district in the Northern Emirates. Developed by Marjan, RAK Central is strategically positioned on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street, offering picturesque views of the Al Hamra Golf Club and the Arabian Gulf. The anticipated opening is slated for 2026.

This ambitious project is designed to house Grade A offices, becoming a hub for leading businesses and entities in the region. With its prime location and flexible design featuring open floor plans tailored to the needs of anchor tenants, RAK Central is poised to be Ras Al Khaimah’s premier business destination.

The development covers a vast expanse, encompassing 3 million square feet of office space, over 4,000 residential apartments, three hotels with over 1,000 keys, as well as multiple parks and retail and entertainment facilities. The multi-phase project is set to kick off construction this year, with the first phase, including one million square feet of commercial office space for rent and residential plots for developers, expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026.

Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan, envisions RAK Central as a catalyst for economic growth, aligning with the leadership’s vision to strengthen Ras Al Khaimah’s business ecosystem. This development follows the emirate’s trend of hosting a rapidly growing property market, marked by prominent projects like Wynn resorts, investments from Aldar, and the success of Rakez (Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone).
