Relatives arrested for murder over honour killing

KARACHI: According to the investigation Safdana was killed over Honour Killing on August 28 in Karachi. The relatives were arrested for murdering over honour killing on Monday.

According to investigating officers Safdana’s in-laws were behind the murder, she was accused of talking to a man on the phone.

The relatives of Safdana had helped her in-laws in the murder plot. She was tricked into going to Bhittaiabad and fired bullets. Later her dead body was wrapped in a blanket and handed over to her relatives. Her body was buried in Gulshan-e-Maymar.

The police have decided to carry out the post-mortem. Safdana’s body will be dug up for the purpose. However, the final decision will be taken only after the court orders. Search has been prompted to arrest the remaining suspects, the accused will be put before court for remand.
