KARACHI: The residents of DHA and Clifton flock outside the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) head office demanding to provide the basic facilities after the devasting rain last week.
Several residents of the DHA and Clifton area have gathered outside the CBC head office in a peaceful protest. CBC and DHA have failed to provide the basic amenities in the areas under their jurisdiction.

The Electricity in Clifton and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has not been restored after the heavy rain in Karachi.
The Electricity in Clifton Block 2 area restored after four days, Block 4, 5, and 9 still electricity outage continues.
The hopeless residents of DHA and Clifton are chanting ‘We won’t pay Taxes’ protesting outside CBD head office.
It appears even the President of Pakistan is unable to take any action.

NOTE: The President of Pakistan Dr Alvi is a resident of DHA, Karachi and appeals to all the residents to join the protest against the water tanker over charging fee by CBC/DHA.
The Government of Sindh has declared four divisions as calamity affected areas, however DHA and Clifton (CBC) do not come under the Provincial Government of Karachi Development Authority (KDA).
