ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Social Security and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Sania Nishtar has tested positive for coronavirus.
The special assistant took to Twitter informing everyone of the development saying, “I have tested positive for COVID 19 and am isolating myself,”
Dr Sania Nishtar further stated, “I have mild symptoms and will, therefore, continue to work from home,”
The SAPM has been on the forefront of the Ehsaas Programmes which have proven to be a great success at helping the needy people across the country.
It is pertinent to mention that the coronavirus has taken over 6,659 lives in Pakistan while the estimated number of cases have surged past 323,400 and continue to rise.
