The Federal Directorate of Education has announced a holiday for all schools, colleges, and universities on 25 May 2022. According to the notification, all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities under the ambit of Federal Directorate of Education shall remain closed tomorrow (25 May 2022).
The notification added that paper of the Centralized Examination (Class 8) shall also be postponed until further orders and new date for this paper shall be announced at a later by the department. The decision has been taken amid the “prevailing extraordinary circumstances.”
It is pertinent to mention that Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, announced Haqeeqi Azadi March towards Islamabad on 25 May 2022. He said that he would lead the largest procession in the history of the country tomorrow (Wednesday).
Therefore, the authorities have announced a holiday for all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, which will remain closed on 25 May 2022. The copy of the notification is attached below for reference.
It bears mentioning that Rawalpindi authorities have also closed all educational institutions in the city on account of the prevailing law and order situation in the country.
