LAHORE: All public and private schools in Punjab have been closed starting 29 April 2021 until Eid ul Fitr due to worsening conditions of coronavirus (COVID-19) across the country.
According to the notification issued by the School Education Department, all educational institutions, including schools, colleges and universities in Punjab have been closed till Eid-ul-Fitr.

Earlier, it was announced that all exams in the country have been cancelled until 15 June 2021 due to worsening conditions of COVID-19.
Talking about the Cambridge exams, the federal education minister said that they will take place during the October / November sessions.
Furthermore, the board exams for classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 which were supposed to commence from end of May have been postponed and no examination will take place until 15 June 2021.
