The authorities in Rawalpindi have closed all public and private schools, colleges and universities in the city on 65 May 2022 on account of the prevailing law and order situation of the country amid the planned Haqeeqi Azadi March towards Islamabad by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Rawalpindi, has issued a notification in this regard as well. “Due to prevailing law and order situation of the country, it is hereby notified for information of the general public that all public and private educational institutions will remain close on 26.05.2022 (Thursday) within the limit of District Rawalpindi.” stated the notification.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved to suspend mobile phone services in several cities of Punjab. According to the details, the mobile phone services are expected to remain suspended in 350 places in Punjab, including Lahore ahead of the PTI Haqeeqi Azadi March.

Therefore, the authorities of Rawalpindi have closed all schools, colleges and universities in the city on 26 May 2022 on account of the prevailing law and order situation in the country. According to the notification, the notification is to be followed by all educational institutions in Rawalpindi.
