The first phase of the Sehat Sahulat Programme in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be launching in three days (31st October 2020) providing a health insurance of Rs. 1 million per family in the province.
According to a tweet by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s official Twitter handle, this will be the most important health plan in Pakistan’s 73-year history and will not discriminate between the rich and poor.
The Sehat Sahulat Programme will initially role out in certain districts (Zone 1) and the project will gradually extend to the entire province by January 2021.
Zone 1 Districts:
- Upper Dir
- Lower Dir
- Malakand
- Swat
- Upper Chitral
- Lower Chitral
Eligibility:
The entire population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is eligible for the Sehat Sahulat Programme and will be provided access to health insurance of Rs. 1 million per family without any distinction between the rich and poor.
Registration for KP Sehat Card Plus+:
All Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) citizens with a valid CNIC will be automatically registered in the Sehat Sahulat Program without any charges.
The citizen’s CNIC will substitute for the Sehat Card Plus+ once the programme is rolled out in all phases throughout the province by January 2021.
