The city of Karachi is experiencing severe load-shedding during the ongoing heatwave in the country. According to the details, the metropolitan is going through one of the worst load-shedding as temperatures in the city experiences a severe heatwave till May 16-17.
K-Electric has failed to end unannounced load-shedding alongside announced load-shedding in the city. There are reports load-shedding in some areas of Karachi being increased from 14 hours to 18 hours.
According to the details, Garden Police Line area and surrounding areas are going through 18 hours of load-shedding, while North Karachi area is experiencing 12-hour load-shedding. Meanwhile, there is an 8 hour-long power outage in Orangi Town at the moment.
The increased load-shedding in Karachi has left people without any fans in this extreme heat, while the power outage has also left many without water.
