The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday on 4 April 2024 (Thursday) across the province on account of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan.
A notification has been issued by the Service, General Administration and Coordination Department stating that a public holiday will be observed across the province of Sindh for all Government Offices, Autonomous Bodies, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporation, and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh.
However, the provincial holiday is not applicable for personnel and departments engaged in essential services.

It is pertinent to mention that Sindh has also declared a holiday for the Christian community on April 1 on the occasion of the ‘Day After Easter’.
