The Government of Sindh has announced public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 from April 21 to April 25, 2023 (Friday to Tuesday).
In a notification issued by the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department of the Government of Sindh, it was stated, “The Government of Sindh declares Public Holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 from 21st to 25th April, 2023 (Friday to Tuesday) throughout the Province of Sindh for all Government offices, Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh,”
However, the notification by the Sindh Government added that mentioned public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 do not apply for essential services, which are going to work as per normal schedule.

It is pertinent that Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Federal Government have already issued notifications regarding the public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2023.
According to these notifications, Punjab will observe the same five public holidays as Sindh Government and the Federal Government, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has announced six public holidays from April 21 to April 26.
