KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has banned indoor dining at restaurants in Karachi as part of new coronavirus restrictions as coronavirus cases continue to rise in the province.
According to a notification issued by Karachi Administrator Iftikhar Shallwani, there is a complete ban on indoor dining at restaurants in Karachi except those eateries serving customers in open spaces.
Deputy Commissioners have been directed to strictly implement the new restrictions to take control of the spread in coronavirus cases in the city which have been on the rise during the last few weeks.
The decision has been made hours after the federal government announced closure of educational institutes in the country to protect students and teachers from the spread of coronavirus.
