The Sindh Government – following in the footsteps of Punjab – is considering to block SIM cards of unvaccinated citizens in an attempt to inoculate as many people as possible.
The announcement was made by Sindh Minister of Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah at the inauguration ceremony of a vaccination center at Karachi’s Rafiqi Shaheed Hospital.
Furthermore, the minister urged everyone who has been vaccinated to take precautionary measures against the coronavirus.
It bears mentioning that Sindh Government is taking the decision to block SIM cards of unvaccinated people after Punjab Government announced a similar decision.

The Federal Government has also allowed anyone aged 18 and above to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine after protest by people wanting to travel to Saudi Arabia, where the Kingdom has only approved Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
