Sindh Govt Employees to Get Advance Salary and Pension Ahead of Eid ul Fitr

The Government of Sindh on Thursday announced that all Muslim employees will get their salary in advance ahead of Eid ul Fitr, which is expected to fall on 21^st or 22^nd April 2023.

A notification issued by the Sindh Government’s Finance Department stated, “The Government of Sindh has been pleased to decide that full pay and allowances / full pension for the month of April, 2023 shall be paid in advance to all Muslim Employees / Pensioners of Provincial Government of Sindh,”

The notification added that salaries and pension will be released on 17 April 2023 instead of 2 May 2023 since Eid ul Fitr is expected to fall on either 21^st or 22^nd April 2023.

The decision to pay advance salary and pension to Sindh Government employees comes as everyone faces high inflation in the country, which has raised prices of basic daily use items, including food.

The move to pay salaries and pensions in advance to Government employees of Sindh will provide a much needed to relief to many people and their families.
